私たちは「 シェッド」と呼ばれる新しい“居場所”の立ち上げや運営を支援しています。
We support the establishment and operation of new "places" called "Sheds".
シェッドには、「ウィメンズ・シェッド」、「メンズ・シェッド」、「コミュニティー・シェッド」など様々な形が存在し、同じシェッドは一つもありません。
There are various types of Sheds, such as "Women's Sheds," "Men's Sheds," and "Community Sheds," and no two sheds are the same.
日本のシェッド活動はまだまだ始まったばかりです。ここから新しいシェッドを作っていきませんか？

The Japan Community Sheds Association supports Shed activities across Japan with the aim of preventing unwanted social isolation and loneliness, and contributing to health promotion through initiatives such as social prescribing and related practices. Our activities seek to extend healthy life expectancy and enhance well-being in communities nationwide.

Thank you very much! Squirrel's Nest Men's Shed!
In the 7th July 2025, we had great time in Squirrel's Nest Men's Shed which is the first Shed in Wales. It was great honour to meet the shedders, Huw-Irranca Davies (Deputy First Minister of Wales), Sarah Murphy (Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing), Keith M Dunn OBE (Honorary Consul for Japan in Wales), and Caroline Ellis (UKMSA CEO). Thank you very much for Robert Visintainer (Welsh Development Manager of UKMSA) and all! We wish you all the best from Japan!

In the 7th July 2025, we had great time in Caeraua Men's Shed. This visit was one of the most unforgettable event that we have ever had. Thank you very much for all and wish you all the best from Japan! We will be back to see you and the cherry blossom tree is growing!
